The Furong Classic SPA Space Project in Guangzhou is a customized commercial space design inspired by the brand’s enduring aesthetic philosophy of “Nature & Wellness.” Spanning 400 square meters, the design aims to create a serene healing sanctuary that returns to the essence of nature. By eschewing elaborate ornamentation, the design interprets “the beauty of imperfection” through the raw texture and warm tactile quality of natural travertine stone. The travertine walls, with their matte finishes and soft hues, establish the spatial foundation. Natural pores and subtle cracks in the stone serve as poetic imprints of time, endowing the space with rustic depth and meditative breathability.Adhering to principles of open fluidity, the spatial configuration integrates gentle natural light with warm diffused lighting to craft ethereal layers of luminous tranquility.

The space emphasizes a natural, tranquil, and rustic atmosphere, providing a healing sanctuary for clients to relax both physically and mentally. In spatial configuration, an open layout minimizes partitions to enhance spatial fluidity and transparency.

Centering around the concept of “the beauty of imperfection”, it emphasizes the texture of natural materials, the traces of time, and the tranquility of the space. The fragrance display area is artfully integrated into the spatial fabric. A travertine wall is recessed inward, forming a natural niche.

The natural texture of travertine endows the space with a unique quality and creates a serene atmosphere. The natural patterns, warm tactile sensation, breathability, and durability of travertine perfectly align with the concept of “rustic naturalness”.

In the space, there is a pursuit of simplicity and functionality in form, avoiding excessive decoration and cumbersome details. Straight lines are adopted without excessive carving and ornamentation, presenting its elegant charm with simple and smooth lines.

On the left side, wooden shelves are used to display products. There is a rest area beside them, furnished with cushions, sofas, and rare stones, providing a place for customers to take a short break. On the right side, there is an arched wall with built – in shelves for showcasing merchandise, paired with a reception desk made of travertine. This setup gives people a sense of relaxation.

In the central hall, products are displayed using a perfume – blending station and shelves. Above the perfume – blending station on the left, a white curtain adds softness and visual layering to the space. On the right wall, multi – layer shelves neatly arrange products, complemented by warm lighting to create a comfortable and relaxing ambiance.

Central Display Area: A large transparent cylindrical glass enclosure serves as the visual focal point, housing lush greenery that simulates natural landscapes. This installation not only infuses vitality into the space but also becomes a captivating centerpiece that draws customers’ attention. A circular light source at the top of the glass cylinder highlights the greenery, creating a unique play of light and shadow.

The corridor walls feature multi – layer shelves displaying products with orange bottles. Point light sources installed inside the bottles add a warm and inviting atmosphere, aligning with the experiential needs for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The floor features rattan – woven lamps and round containers, adding a sense of natural simplicity and rustic charm. These elements echo the greenery, further enhancing the space’s organic ambiance.
